This very custom floating mono stringer staircase is unique is almost every way! From the custom built steel channel stringers, to the Euorpean White Oak block treads with steel end caps. The guardrail is a one-off design where we machined all the components to be pressed together (no welding) and to hold 3/4″ thich low iron glass panels. It dosen’t stop there as the handrail is made up of a vertical steel blade of steel slicing up through a White Oak oval so the top of the steel edge is exposed. All of the steel received a patina and beeswax finish.
